Our son and daughter-in-law used this company about 5 years ago and were very happy with the product and the service. When we decided we to replace our grass with turf we just went with Two Guys and a Shovel and we were not disappointed. When Paul came to the house to go over what we wanted and to take measurements he did a great job of explaining everything and didn't try to talk us into anything we weren't comfortable with. The crew that did the installation arrived on time worked hard, were terrific about answering our questions and were very polite and left our place looking great and cleaned up. We highly recommend them.

We wanted some turf installed in our dog run area. Dave and Paul responded quickly and as soon as the snow melted Paul was out to take measurement. Dave had a quote for us a day later. Communication was fantastic! The crew that came to do the work were amazing! Douglas was fantastic at explaining what they were going to do, how long it would take and what we should expect. And he and his crew delivered exactly what they said they would. The product is perfect! I cannot say enough good things about this company, the customer service and the final product! We definitely will contact them for any other landscaping we will have in the future!

Two Guys and a Shovel was recommended to us by a company that sells rubber flooring for commercial and home gyms for installation. Dave arrived at our house to complete a quote for rubber flooring installation in our basement and was upfront about the fact that he had a few outstanding outdoor jobs that had to be completed first, while the weather would allow. Since we weren't in any rush, we understood the situation and appreciated the honesty. Once the project was underway, Dave's team did a great job of sanding the concrete floor to ensure that the rubber floor placed on top would be level. The room is an awkward shape, but the team did a phenomenal job cutting the rubber tiles and ensuring that installation was perfect. We would highly recommend Two Guys and Shovel for this type of project and, while we haven't had any outdoor work projects for them yet, from what we've seen, we would recommend them for any of their more typical services as well.

A huge thank you to the 10 guys and 20 shovels team! Our new turf backyard looks fantastic and like realistic grass! They did a fantastic job, managing to perfectly go around all sorts of trees and even our backyard playground. They also installed a level pad for our hot tub. The whole process was very professional and their team was super friendly onsite. We can highly recommend them for your landscaping needs👍

Like many of us living in mineola and the fantastic trees all around , have trouble with growing grass in the backyard After many years of seeding in the spring , only to see it all dead by mid summer, I decided to have artificial turf installed I am amazed how natural it looks , if you choose the right one I had the nicest crew that ever did work in my house It is called “ two guys and a shovel “ Absolutely recommended Enjoy the summer

We got a puppy Dec 2020 and our once nice backyard turned into a mud pit. We hired Two Guys and a Shovel and couldn't be happier. They replaced all the wood trim around the gardens and installed artificial turf and it looks absolutely amazing. I highly recommend Dave and his friendly efficient crew. I would definitely call them back for any future landscaping I decide to do

Amazing job, great service. I have called several guys to do my backyard artificial turf, side walk and driveway extension (Interlocking) quotation but could not satisfied with them and then finally came across 2 guys and shovel. I met with Paul and found him so knowledgeable and he discussed our project requirements in length with us and gave us a quote. The backyard was done by separate team and they had done a very good job with good quality turf by properly excavating and applying required stuff but the thing which I am most pleased about is my INTERLOCKING (driveway extension). At that stage one of their supervisor Mr. LAWRENCE has done the work for us. Believe me he is too good and I must say a perfectionist he has done it very perfectly even beyond my expectation. I have seen interlocking projects of my friends and neighbours but none compared to mine, all praise to 2 guys & shovel's professional team, in particular to Mr. Lawrence. I highly recommend them.

I had the guys come out and do some work on my backyard. I needed the job done quickly and even during their busiest time they were able to accommodate! The guys were great to work with, did an amazing job and I still cant believe that I am looking at turf, I feel like i have a perfectly groomed lawn but without the maintenance!

We just had David and his guys come out and do our back yard a couple days ago. His guys are professional and good at their job. They stopped their work to answer questions for me. We could even have our kids on the back deck while they worked and didn't have to worry about foul mouths or non kid friendly talk. Would I use them again? I might look for a reason to.

We recently had an interlock patio and artificial grass installed in our backyard. We surveyed a number of companies and decided to go with Two Guys. They were very professional, answered all of our questions and ultimately did a great job. We found the price to be quite reasonable. Initially, we had a number of delays due to very heavy and frequent rain this spring, but Dave was constantly in contact with me to update on the status of our project start date. We had a few minor additional requests and they were able to accommodate us. Overall we are very happy with the project. WE would be happy to use them again and would highly recommend them! Thanks (two) guys!

Robert, Mississauga Paint and Grass RepairTwo Men and a Shovel Revived our Garden – Dave, Paul and their team transformed our entire back garden in August 2014. It included preparing the garden for patio stones, laying the stones, building a new deck, building a raised vegetable garden, building a trellis for a large hydrangea, building a new fence, building a parking pad etc. and, throughout all of this, maintaining existing plants and trees. Their workmanship was outstanding and they worked hard and got the job done in a tight time frame.
They were particularly adaptive to requests for leaving trees and vines intact and coming up with resourceful and artful ways of combing the old and the new. They are very easy to work with, always willing to discuss plans in detail and make suggestions and adjustments. Their team has a wonderful sense of humour and it was a great pleasure to have them around. We highly recommend them for an excellent workmanship and outstanding services!
Hallaa, Toronto"So Dave and Paul… Aka two Guys and a shovel. They had done work for me before and were excellent so when we decided to re-do our entire backyard there was no other choice. These guys are very very good. From making sure that the cabana was properly into the concrete, to the digging and removal of 19 tonnes of dirt from the backyard and ensure the all the slopes are correct for drainage it was done. ( Not to mention I am very picky and quite a detailed person.)
They worked day and night as the deal was they needed to be done before pool season started. Not many crews would do that and a few of our neighbours even commented that these guys worked hard and they did. Everything from interlock, cabana, pool deck and pergola was done top notch and the backyard looks great. They were flexible enough to change a Few things on the fly and that goes a long way into writing such a positive review. I would not choose any other company and if I did it all over again, there would not be any other company to call. Next year front yard redo. Thank you to Dave, Paul and the entire crew your work."
